Terms and Conditions
1. Introduction
Welcome to Go Odyssey Pvt Ltd. By accessing or using our website and services, you agree to comply with these terms and conditions. Please read them carefully before renting or making use of our services.
2. Eligibility
Renters must be at least 18 years of age.
A valid international or Sri Lankan driver’s license is required.
Renters must provide original identification documents and any other requested verifications.
3. Rental Agreement
The rental agreement is binding once the payment and required deposits are made.
The rental period begins and ends as specified in the booking confirmation.
Early returns do not qualify for refunds.
4. Vehicle Use
Vehicles must only be used for lawful purposes and operated in compliance with Sri Lankan traffic laws.
Off-road use, racing, subletting, or towing is strictly prohibited.
The renter is responsible for maintaining the vehicle in its original condition during the rental period.
5. Payment and Deposits
Payment must be made in full at the time of booking.
A refundable security deposit is required. The deposit will be withheld in case of damages, theft, or violation of rental terms.
6. Insurance and Liability
Basic insurance is included in the rental fee and covers third-party liability.
Renters are liable for damages not covered under insurance, including tire punctures, fuel issues, or traffic violations.
In the event of an accident, the renter must immediately notify Go Odyssey and submit a police report.
7. Fuel Policy
All vehicles are supplied with a full tank of fuel and must be returned with the same.
Refueling charges apply for any deficit.
8. Maintenance and Repairs
Renters are responsible for regular checks (e.g., fuel, oil, tire pressure) during the rental period.
Repairs or modifications are not permitted without prior consent from Go Odyssey.
9. Cancellations and Refunds
Cancellations made 48 hours before the scheduled rental date are eligible for a refund minus an administrative fee.
No refunds are provided for late cancellations or no-shows.
10. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of Sri Lanka. Disputes shall be resolved within the jurisdiction of Colombo courts.
11. Amendments
Go Odyssey reserves the right to update or amend these terms at any time.
Updates will be effective immediately upon posting on our website.
